This project involves setting up a pre-industrial demonstrator for the chemical recycling of complex polyester-based textiles at the end of their life cycle. The promise: an alternative to landfill or incineration, as well as a new source of raw materials!
THE + OF THE PROJECT IN TERMS OF CIRCULAR FASHION :
→ Supply the fashion industry in particular with recycled polyester from virgin-quality textiles.
→ Supply separate, pure co-materials (cotton, elastane, polyamide, etc.) that can themselves be recycled and reused in the textile industry for circular fashion.
→ Propose a recycling solution for complex polyester-based textiles, frequently used in the fashion industry, and currently landfilled or incinerated for lack of suitable solutions
