For the past 2 years, she has been working with the Deputy Director General on the definition of public policy support axes in favor of new economic models, in particular the circular economy. Previously, she managed the development of the SSE within the city of Lille for 4 years.

Manon Léger, textile engineer for the supervision of the TLC EPR atADEME Determined to contribute to the sustainable development of textiles for many years, my training and experience have forged my knowledge and skills in relation to the environment and textiles. With a degree in textile engineering from ENSAIT, I now work at ADEME, the French Environment and Energy Management Agency, overseeing the EPR TLC (Clothing, Linen and Footwear) sector. In the past, I've worked on textile finishing and on experimentation with environmental textile labelling.

Renaud Nicolas Petit is a journalist and editor-in-chief of The Good Goods, the first French media outlet dedicated to the transition of the fashion industry, and a founding member of the Fédération de la Mode Circulaire. He is also co-author, with Victoire Satto, of "La Bible du Raccommodage", a practical book published by Hachette Marabout that offers advice on extending the life of clothes and reducing waste.

Isabelle Robert, co-founder of the Tex&Care Chair, is Senior Lecturer in Management Sciences at the IAE, University of Lille, and holds a PhD in Economics. Her research focuses not only on responsible and circular consumption, but also on sustainable and circular business models and their ecosystems. With a strong focus on sustainability, she explores business models in the post-growth era, as well as the logic of sobriety in the world of consumption.

Anne Perwuelz - Professor Emeritus - Ensait, Gemtex, University of Lille Specialist in textile materials and processes and co-founder of the Tex&Care Chair. Her research focuses on the eco-design of textiles in the context of the circular economy, with a 3-pronged approach: reducing the impact of manufacturing, increasing the lifespan of garments and optimizing end-of-life loops. It participates in numerous national and international research projects.

Pascal Denizart joined the European Center for Innovative Textiles (CETI) in June 2014. He has more than 40 years of experience in the Textile, Fashion, Retail and Luxury sector and associated business processes (Spinning, nonwovens, weaving, knitting, finishing and garment making). Capitalizing on his experience as a textile engineer, he previously worked for the Institut Français du Textile et de l'Habillement (IFTH), the French textile and clothing institute...

where he was head of marketing and business development, implementing enterprise solutions to accelerate innovation in the field of advanced textiles. He was also a member of the AGILE corporate team (ORACLE), and of the LECTRA management team leading the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) business unit. Pascal Denizart was also Associate Professor at the University of Strasbourg, teaching Environmental Marketing and Product Development methodologies.

Catherine Dauriac is President of the NGO Fashion Revolution France, textile expert, impact editor of the magazine Hummade dedicated to Free Fashion, and recent author of the book "Fashion" published on April 14 by Editions Tana in the Fake or Not collection. Her work embraces all issues linked to the textile industry, from workers' rights to a living wage to innovations that will enable the textile industry to progress towards greater transparency, traceability and social and environmental justice.

Jeanne MEILLIER - Business Manager - Euramaterials
With a background in textiles and economics, Jeanne MEILLIER specializes in the circular economy and the promotion of local natural fibers. Her experience as a marketing manager for polymer fibers, and as a weaving product manager for ready-to-wear clothing, gives her an in-depth understanding of the textile industry. At EuraMaterials, she is a partner in European recycling projects and is responsible for supporting innovation in the textile circular economy.

Jan Mahy, Professor at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands After many years in textile industry as R&D director, Jan Mahy joined Saxion as a Professor of Sustainable & Functional Textiles in 2019. There he leads the team of researchers in close collaboration with the education "Fashion & Textile Technology" (Bachelor) and "Innovative Textile Development" (Master). Jan is trained as physicist and materials scientist.

Re_Fashion eco-design project manager After more than 4 years in children's fashion as an entrepreneur and then product manager, Eléna decided to take action for this sector through CSR and more sustainable production. Today, she is working on eco-design for Refashion, the eco-organization for the textiles, household linen and footwear sector, with the aim of helping players move towards greater circularity.

Circular economy consultant, joined CENTEXBEL in 2021. His role as coordinator of Textile value chain activities within Circular Wallonia, Wallonia's strategy for the transition to the CE, gives him a very broad view of the developing textile circular ecosystem. Prior to this, he held a number of positions in product quality and safety management for over 30 years, mainly for Levi Strauss and C&A.

An economist by training (Paris Dauphine) and a graduate of the Collège des Hautes Etudes de l'Environnement et du Développement Durable (Centrale/Agro Paris Tech), Thomas has extensive experience in the reflection and implementation of strategic sustainable approaches, which he acquired in his capacity as Director of Sustainable Development at Vinci, PPR and SFR.

He also created the SFR Foundation for Equal Opportunity, of which he was the first administrator and one of the co-founders and administrators of the Collège des Directeurs du Développement Durable. Finally, he has entrepreneurial experience, having founded his own firm Imagin'able in 2008, which focuses on positive innovation strategies and approaches. In 2021, Thomas joins Frédéric Rodriguez to join the R3 Group - an ecosystem of independent entities with complementary expertise to bridge the gap between economy and ecology. It is at this moment that Imagin/able becomes R3 Imagin/able, within the R3 Group.

He graduated from the University of Artois in 1981 with a degree in civil engineering and began his career as a project manager in a building and public works company. In 1983, he joined the French Agency for Energy Management (AFME). In 1992, whenADEME was created, he became head of the Development, Buildings and Transport unit within the Nord-Pas de Calais Regional Directorate. He was appointed Regional Director of ADEME Nord-Pas de Calais on July 17, 1998 and then appointed Regional Director of ADEME Hauts-de-France on January 1, 2016.

Niki has 15 years of experience in production and strategic consulting for luxury fashion brands (such as Bruno Pieters Antwerp and NEHERA Prague). She created the first 100% transparent company Honest by bruno Pieters in 2010. She then guided several companies in their digital transformation and gained experience in e-commerce.

Two powerful foundations, on which she built COSH! Small, local SMEs and fashion entrepreneurs are increasingly overshadowed by the false sustainability claims of large fashion retailers. The COSH! online platform makes conscious shopping easier for consumers while providing visibility to genuine local and sustainable boutiques. On COSH! consumers can easily find sustainable fashion items that fit their style and budget in eco-friendly stores. COSH! vets brands with precision and has a thorough methodology for selecting fair trade and circular brands. The platform recently received the European DigiCirc award and funding for its new sustainability algorithm for local stores.

Maximilien Schrub is a PhD in Process Engineering and his work focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to garment life prediction. He joined the Fairly Made team in 2021 as Methodology Manager. Fairly Made is a hyper-growth green tech startup created to improve the impact of the textile industry, enabling fashion brands to measure the environmental and social impact of their products in order to find more responsible solutions.

Initially a product manager for luxury ready-to-wear brands, her career path then led her to work for the French textile-clothing industry, joining the UITH in 2020, working since then on the development and promotion of the textile and clothing industry in the Hauts-de-France region.

Michiel
Scheffer

Michiel Scheffer, who comes from a family of textile entrepreneurs, became interested in this sector during his geography studies. His doctoral thesis dealt with the relocation of the textile/clothing sector in four European countries, including France. From 1991 to 2000, he worked for the Dutch Federation of Clothing Industries, which he represented at EURATEX. He is also a lecturer at fashion schools in Amsterdam (AMFI), Paris (IFM) and later a professor in textile economics and management in Saxion (NL).

He founded his own consulting firm in 2000 and until 2015 set up consortia of companies, researchers and regions in the textile sector. Elected Regional Councillor and later Vice President of the Region of Gelderland, he applies his learning to regional economic policy, also at the European Committee of the Regions. Resuming his consulting activity in 2019, he sets up a sustainable textile program at Wageningen University.

Philippe Suisse is in charge of the "circular economy" project within the Third Industrial Revolution Department of the Hauts-de-France Region. A chemist by training, his various scientific and technical professional experiences in the public (University of Lille) and private (Séché Environnement, Schneider Electric) sectors have led him to take an interest in research issues, particularly in the field of materials. He has been working for several years on innovation issues related to the life cycle of materials and sustainable production and for the last two years on the issue of the circular economy of plastics.

Touboulic

Nolwenn Touboulic is in charge of textiles atADEME, particularly in terms of recycling and eco-design. She is involved at the national level, particularly in supporting innovation, in studies of sectors, and in partnerships with stakeholders, in conjunction with the various ADEME teams (communication, consumption, bioeconomy, EPR sectors, etc.), to reduce the environmental and social impacts of the textile industry. It is also involved in the recycling of paper/cardboard and wood.

Christelle Demaretz is in charge of the "Circular Economy" project within the Third Industrial Revolution Department of the Hauts-de-France Region. For more than 10 years, she has been interested in eco-design, life cycle thinking, and new economic models. She has been working for almost 2 years on the transition to a circular economy in the textile and clothing industry. Before joining the Hauts-de-France Region, she carried out various missions as a project manager in different organizations such as Cd2e, Aéroport de Paris, Renault or the CNRS.

Adèle Routhiau is a textile engineer and responsible for eco-design at the eco-organization Refashion. In September 2020, she launched the Eco design platform, a free resource center accessible to all to help textile and footwear brands meet the challenge of eco-design. Every month, it runs "Eco-design meetings", awareness-raising webinars and support workshops for players in the sector.

Guy De Muelenaere is representative of the Walloon wing of Fedustria, the Belgian federation of the textile, wood and furniture industry. With a degree in Public and International Affairs, his areas of specialization within the federation and in the service of companies were initially those of the environment and energy, and have gradually expanded to include other matters within the scope of regional policy.

Mr. De Muelenaere is a director in a number of associations related to the sectors' activities and is present in various employer bodies. In his activities, he pays special attention to the transition of companies to a circular economy.
